Project 52, project #2 "Be Unique"

I was inspired by this weeks project. The glimmer mist is what inspired me and how Jeni covered the mirror. I thought I could do something with a glass jar. The glimmer mist didn't work so well, but I did use it on the ribbon. I use alcohol ink to cover the jar.

A little bird told me........

So I created this blog a while ago. I have been meaning to work on it. My sister keeps encouraging me to blog. So here I am...making the time. My kids are bouncing off the walls. That's ok really. We will do some art in a little while.

So I will leave you with a little project I made yesterday. My friend gave me these huge paper clips. As she handed them to me, she said, "I know you will figure out something to do with these!" Well I did. I made a bookmark.

1. I cut out two cute little bird(the robin on the cricut storybook cart).
2. I used a scrap of prima paper.
3. I outlined the birds with black marker.
4. Added mini brads from Queen and Company.
5. Sprayed them with glimmer mist.
6. I applied some Zip Dry and poured glitter on the glue.
7. I glued 2 buttons to each side of the paperclip.
8. I glued my two-sided bird to the buttons.
9. And you have a very cute bird bookmark.
